A+ Tutoring Menu of Services:

Core Academics: We offer one on one tutoring by the hour for all academic subjects for all learning levels, Pre-K through College.

Speech Therapy: We offer speech therapy services for all ages as well. Our speech therapy services include animal assisted therapy, articulation (speech), receptive and expressive language skills, comprehension and literacy skills, fluency skills, and play based therapy.

SEL: SEL stands for Social Emotional Learning. This service focuses on learning skills to support healthy development and relationships. The goal of SEL is to promote prosocial skills such as kindness, sharing, and empathy by working in the five components- self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.

Foreign Languages: We provided experts in foreign languages such as Spanish, French, ASL and more. Our language experts work with our learners on grammar and writing skills as well as conversational skills.

College/Certification Program Applications: A+ loves to see our learners further their education by planning for college, or a workforce certification program.   We support our learners beyond graduation by offering support with college entrance essays, FAFSA completion, and applying for scholarships. These tasks can be intimidating to some students and families, so we have a team of experts to assist our students.

Summer Programs: Not only do we offer one on one tutoring through the summer to support our learners individually, but we also offer summer learning programs for reading and math. It is our goal at A+ to ensure each of our learners succeed in reading and mathematics.

Professional Development: Our team provides professional learning training for educators, and can conduct specialized training for business professionals as well. We are here to support any continuing education needs.

Guidance Counseling & Mentoring: At A+ we support our learners in all aspects of life. We offer counseling and mentoring services to our learners. We know that being a student can be overwhelming, so we are here to help our learners through the good and bad times, and teach them skills to lead them to a balanced, healthy, and happy life.

Study Skills & Test Prep: A+ works with our learners to master study skills and testing taking strategies for many different exams such as SAT, ACT, GED, PERT, K12 state exams, driving exams, and many more.

Parent Involvement & Family Engagement: A+ believes that student success requires not only the student, but also the student’s family. We are here to assist and guide families in best practices for supporting their student. We provide different levels of support to our families to get engaged in their student’s learning.
